As Solutions Engineer, you will represent the Bishop-Wisecarver family of products. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products throughout the product lifecycle to developing new products for the company to fill market opportunities. You will build product solutions for our existing and new customers from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience, market research and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market and deliver comprehensive solutions that open up infinite possibilities for our customers' success.
The Solutions Engineer must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. This includes working with sales and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met and that the company is well positioned to maintain and grow market share. You will work with engineering to define product release requirements and deliver winning products. You will work with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer; thus ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals. You will work with finance to define pricing, costing and margin enhancement opportunities for our customers and the company. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers as needed.
